A record 1,000 COVID-19 deaths reported in April

Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, most people have died in April. During the highest peak in the second wave, which was announced by Health Minister VenkoFilipche last November, 769 people died of COVID-19.

Between 30 and 40 people died every day in April. On April 7, however, there was a record and 51 deaths from the coronavirus infection.

Regarding the coronavirus death toll, Health Minister VenkoFilipche even assured the citizens that the treatment against COVID-19 does not help everyone and he is not to blame for that.
