There’s no harm in the Pendarovski-Mickoski meeting, says PM Zaev

The meeting between President Stevo Pendarovski and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski can only be useful, there is no harm in that, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said on Thursday, commenting on the announced “unfreezing” of relations between the head of state and the opposition leader.

“There should be dialogue, there is no harm in that. As you see, my meeting with Mickoski, and then with Zijadin Sela and Afrim Gashi gave partial results. We have postponed the census, the procurement of fingerprint scanners has started, and in return we expect the Parliament to be unblocked. Thus, the fifth set of anti-crisis measures was adopted, even though MPs in protective suits had to come to the Parliament even then,” Zaev said after receiving the coronavirus vaccine.
