135 new COVID-19 cases, 14 die, 298 patients recover

Out of 1,993 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 135 new cases were registered, 298 patients recovered and 14 died, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

Most of the new cases were registered in Skopje – 74, Kumanovo – 11, Bitola – 7, Vinica – 6, Prilep – 5, Tetovo – 5, Strumica – 5, Ohrid – 3, Probishtip – 3, Veles – 2, Shtip – 2, Kichevo – 2, Resen – 2, Radovish – 2, Kavadarci – 1, Struga – 1, Kochani – 1, Sveti Nikole – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, Krushevo – 1.

The Public Health Institute registered 298 recovered patients from all over the country, the press release reads.

Twelve people died between the ages of 47 and 85, including seven from Skopje, three from Kumanovo, one from Bitola, one from Strumica, one from Kichevo, and one from Kriva Palanka.

Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 154,026 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 137,962 patients have recovered. Death toll has reached 5,093. At the moment, there are 10,971 active cases across the country.
