What is very important is to emphasize that this is really a sensitive topic in the society and no one remains indifferent to the events of April 27, no matter how much one tries to point out or stick that label on someone. But what matters to me is the essence of the work. SDSM, at the time of the April 27 incident, came out at its press conferences and called the people terrorists, which later turned into an indictment, and in the end ended in a verdict, said VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson MarijaMiteva during a TV interview.

Miteva added that now that the topic of April 27 has been opened, it has been seen that the President and the opposition leader have the same views on this issue. And that they had the same views because it was a political case.

“What is most important about the April 27 case? First, was violence committed? Yes, there was violence; I confirm that there was violence. Did the people who entered the Parliament make a mistake? Yes. Are they aware of that? Yes, they are aware. But whether the people who made it possible and opened the doors are on the defendant’s bench or have been released from prison for other purposes, and that is a very important question. What is important that VMRO-DPMNE demands is not freedom, nor amnesty, we have never asked for that, but VMRO-DPMNE demands justice, process, and the use of new evidence,” the opposition spokesperson added.
