The Macedonian economy is increasingly moving towards a complete fiasco. The SDSM government has no plan to deal with the economic crisis, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, says the largest opposition party VMRO-DPMNE.

“In just one year, over 60,000 citizens lost their jobs in Macedonia and over 6,200 businesses were closed. The government debt in these four years grew by 2 billion and 800 million euros, or 63% of GDP, and inflation for this year, from the projected 1.5 of the NBRM increased to 3%. For VMRO-DPMNE, the solution is not the increase of taxes, but the reduction of taxes, dealing with the gray economy and cutting the unproductive costs of this criminal government,” VMRO-DPMNE points out.
