Opposition VMRO-DPMNE has submitted a bill to Parliament for refunding citizens who went on their own dime to get vaccinated in Serbia.

The irresponsibility and delay of the government in procuring vaccines against COVID-19 cost human lives. The vaccination fiasco forces Macedonian citizens to be vaccinated outside Macedonia. According to the data collected by VMRO-DPMNE, about 40,000 citizens have been vaccinated abroad so far, of which most about 30,000 have been vaccinated in Serbia.

“The vaccines against COVID-19 are free for everyone in the world, but the Macedonian citizens due to the inability of Zaev and Filipche paid for it through transportation and accommodation costs in neighboring countries to get vaccinated,” said VMRO-DPMNE.
