Macedonian citizens in the diaspora to obtain personal documents easily

There is more waiting for a personal document in Skopje, but the waiting period is already significantly reduced, said Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski.

He says that the services work part-time and on weekends, in order for the citizens to get their passports, driver’s licenses and ID cards as soon as possible.

“For comparison, in May last year we had applications for about 31,500 passports and about 42 thousand for passports in June. Now, on average, about three thousand citizens call daily and one thousand register through the website, or 65 thousand appointments for personal documents were scheduled in May, and 66 thousand in June,”  said Spasovski.
