After a one-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year for the 47th time the traditional Galichnik wedding will be held again. The event is scheduled for the upcoming weekend, and the whole ceremony will start on Friday at 8:30 pm.
Persistent in the desire to be part of the tradition, FilipBundovski and KaterinaIlievska, who last year were chosen as the bride and groom at the Galichnik wedding, this year will crown their love in Galichnik.
“The time has come again to bridge the gap between the past, the present and the future. Creating magic in which time does not play any role, to revive customs, to weave metaphysical threads stretched from the primordial, to confuse reason by blurring the boundaries between the real and the surreal, to awaken all the senses. We are happy that we can do it this year, happy that we are here, that we are healthy, and remembering those we lost along the way in the difficult year that has passed, and who will still be with us, invited, present,” said the local community ofGalichnik.
The cultural event Galichnik Wedding 2021 is under the auspices of President StevoPendarovski.
