Georgievski wins Olympic silver in taekwondo for Macedonia

Macedonian taekwondo athleteDejanGeorgievskiwon a silver Olympic medal to Macedonia in the +80 kg category.

Georgievski lost in the final fight to the Russian VladislavLarin with a result of 9:15, and Mohamed Azmi from Egypt was the judge of this fight.

Georgievski returns from Tokyo with a silver medal, and advanced to the finals after defeating the Korean In in the semifinals, nicknamed the “magician”.

This morning, Dejan started the road to the Olympic medal with the victory of the current world champion Rafael Alba from Cuba, followed by the victory over SaiduGbane from Ivory Coast.
