Health Minister Venko Filipche said Saturday the number of newly diagnosed and hospitalized with COVID-19 is growing rapidly and that in the coming weeks the situation could be critical. However, he assures that the health system is ready for the new wave. He stresses that vaccination is safe, effective and effective, and as a fact points out that only ten percent of the total 3497 new cases in the last week were vaccinated with one or both doses of vaccine against COVID-19.
“The number of new cases, but also the number of patients, generally in the country in recent days is growing sharply. If we look at the dynamics with which the number is increasing, we can say that there are several weeks in which the situation could be really critical,” said Filipche.
