VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski shared his stance after Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that Macedonia had informed the United States that the country was available to help save the lives of civilians in Afghanistan.

Mickoski says that Zaev is not able to provide care and protection for his own citizens, let alone the citizens of other countries.

“Macedonia is one of the poorest countries in Europe, in such a situation, it is good to see an example of solidarity from the richer countries than our Macedonia, with an example to show values, to accept refugees from Afghanistan, and not by patting on the shoulder. After we think about whether and who will pay for this. And let me remind you, this was also in the minds of the VMRO members,” Mickoski said in his statement.
