Asked about a possible postponement of the census, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev categorically said that the statistical operation will take place, regardless of everything that will happen in terms of the epidemiological situation in the country with COVID-19.
“The opposition demanded a postponement of the census several months ago, when we had 50 cases a day. And we said that we do not know what awaits us in September. And here, September is on our doorstep, and we have high numbers of cases. The census will be held, and there will be high fees for the enumerators,” said Zaev.
