The deteriorating epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in the municipalities of Debar and Centar Zupa still does not subside, as confirmed by the data of 269 cases this month.

The number of cases is growing, which is a consequence of non-compliance with health protocols. On a daily basis, on average, this month the dangerous virus was confirmed in 10.3 people. Of particular concern is the fact that most of those infected are between the ages of 20 and 40. According to age, a one-year-old child is the youngest infected, head of the Working Unit of the Center for Public Health Mentor Melja told the media.

He adds that due to this irresponsible behavior of some residents of this area, the only thing that can help the situation is immunization.

According to the director of the General Hospital with extended activity Baki Alili, this process is going smoothly with at least 200 vaccines applied on daily basis.

Regarding the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the wards, he says that the number varies.
