VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said Sunday afternoon that his party will back the independent candidacy of Danela Arsovska “as a candidate of the citizens, not the party” and that cooperation with the Alliance for Albanians/Alternativa for some of the municipalities has already been specified.
“Danela Arsovska is not VMRO-DPMNE’s candidate for mayor of Skopje, but a candidate of the citizens and she asked for support from the parties for her candidacy. VMRO-DPMNE made a decision of its party bodies to support Arsovska’s candidacy for the good of Skopje and the people of Skopje. We expect her to win,” said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski.
