44.6% of the total population over 18 has been vaccinated with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines by September 4, in addition to 54% of citizens over 40 and 29% of those aged 18-39, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Tuesday.
Walk-in vaccination, it added, is available nationwide, while citizens interested in in-home vaccination must first apply at the nearest vaccination point.
So far, 1,326,584 vaccine doses have been administered in the country, while 589,573 have received both doses, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Wednesday.
