Three days of mourning throughout the country after the tragedy in Tetovo

The Government declared three days of mourning for the accident at the Covid Center in Tetovo and accepted an offer from allied countries to provide foreign experts to investigate explosions and fires.

With a minute of silence as a sign of respect for the victims of the tragic fire in the modular covid center in the hospital in Tetovo, and as a sign of sympathy with their families, the Government today decided to declare three days of mourning throughout the country.

Days of mourning have been declared on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), and during the days of mourning the flag of the Republic of Macedonia will be hoisted at half-staff.

The Government appeals to all social actors to postpone all public and private celebrations, parties, cultural, artistic and sports events, party and other types of promotions scheduled for these three days. At this session, the Ministers of Interior and Health informed about the current situation of the fire with tragic consequences and stressed that the inspection to determine the causes continues on Thursday, according to the Government.
