Population census to end in two days, 1.619.857 people in the country and 198.589 abroad counted since start


As of Monday at 8 pm, census takers in N. Macedonia’s 2021 Population and Housing Census have counted 1.619.857 persons, 526,605 households and 752,916 apartments in the country, according to the State Statistical Office on Tuesday.

In addition, 198.589 people abroad filled out the online census survey so far.

Citizens who weren’t at home when census takers visited them can fill out their surveys at at specific locations set up by the State Statistical Office.

The 2021 Population and Housing Census, which officially started on Sept. 5, ends on Sept. 30.
