The reactions of the citizens do not subside after the camp of the NGO First Scout Detachment in the City of Skopje with sexual and indecent content where the participants were minors, and who, as the media write after such an event, face trauma.

The city Mayor PetreShilegov had to face the media at the press conference after the two-day silence, so when asked by a journalist, he accused the opposition VMRO-DPMNE of running a negative campaign against him, adding that the City of Skopje finances thousands and thousands of projects every year, and that it is the duty of the institutions to provide sex education.

“The City of Skopje finances thousands and thousands of different projects each year, we cannot predict which ones will make them useful. This is scandalous and is not in the application and we could not approve it. I ask VMRO-DPMNE, we are talking about children, parental worries, it is a shame to use those emotions. It is safe to stop such policies. The application means camp with high schools, this is outside the schools. I think it is the duty of the institutions to provide sex education to adolescents, and that was within the high schools,” Shilegov said.
