TAB MAK announces €30 million to expand manufacturing capacity

Slovenian starter battery plant TAB MAK is discussing new investment plans worth €30 million in expanding manufacturing capacity.

Company’s management team said that TAB MAK employs 530 people who continued to work even during the pandemic, with governmental financial assistance measures. The new investment will create jobs not only in Probishtip, but also in the entire region, which means an opportunity for a higher standard for living for the people and economic development of the region.

TAB MAK plant produces starter batteries that are sold with annual capacity of 1-1.5 million pieces, and 97 percent of the production is placed on the European market.
