Leader of the Alliance of Albanians Zijadin Sela said that the opposition in the country is well on its way to achieving positive results wherever it runs with joint candidates. Villages from Ohrid where he had a working meeting with the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski, stressed that the cooperation with VMRO-DPMNE is good.
Regarding the expectations from the upcoming elections, Sela said that regardless of the composition of the future local government in the municipalities, their importance stems from the fact that the results of these elections will create conditions for change at the central level.
“The outcome of the local elections will give rise to important issues at the central level. This cooperation of ours aims to prevent the continued growth of the corruption rate. Unfortunately, we are becoming the most corrupt country in the region, even on a global scale. That is why we need to be able to work together to change this government that came with many promises, and on the other hand, unfortunately, failed to realize any of the promises,” said Sela
