19 VMRO-DPMNE mayoral candidates elected out of 31 candidates in the first electoral round, says the SEC

According to the processed 100 percent of data from the State Election Commission (SEC) so far in Sunday’s local elections in the first round 32 mayors have been elected, of which one has not met the turnout threshold, and the votes for the other municipalities and the City of Skopje have not been fully processed yet.

In the municipality of Arachinovo, out of 100 percent of the processed ballots, the DUI candidate won 44.23 percent of the votes, and the SDSM and the coalition 39.14 percent, which means that there will be a second round of elections.

In Berovo, the winner is the candidate of SDSM and the coalition Zvonko Pekevski with 51.25 percent of the votes.

In Bitola, the candidates of VMRO-DPMNE with 42.83 percent of the votes and the candidate of SDSM with 39.3 percent of the votes will compete in the second round of elections.

SDSM candidate Blaze Shapov won in Bogdanci with 50.70% of the votes.

In Vevcani there will be a second round between the candidates of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM who won 49.68 and 44.69 percent of the vote, respectively.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Marko Kolev won in Veles with 51.63 percent of the votes.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Mile Petkov won in Vinica with 54.74% of the votes.

The candidates of AA and Alternativa and DUI go to the second round in Vrapchishte with 41.38, i.e. 34.58 percent of the votes.

In Bogovinje, the DUI candidate reached 47.29 percent and the Coalition Alliance for Albanians and Alternative with 27.54 percent of the votes. There will be second round of elections in this municipality.

In Bosilovo, the winner is the VMRO-DPMNE candidate with 58.33% of the votes.

In Brvenica, there will be a second round between the candidates of VMRO-DPMNE with 29.67 percent of the votes and the group of voters – Enver Pajaziti with 19.07 percent.

In Butel, the winner is the VMRO-DPMNE candidate with 52.79 percent of the votes.

In Valandovo, the SDSM candidate won with 57.73% of the votes.

In Vasilevo, the candidates of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM will compete in the second round with 48.81 and 47.94 percent of the votes, respectively.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Boban Stefkovski won in Gazi Baba with 60.07 percent of the votes.

The candidates of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM will go to Gevgelija in the second round with 47.11 percent and 34.69 percent of the votes, respectively.

In Gostivar, there will be a second round between the candidates of AA and Alternativa and DUI who won 49.88% and 41.84% of the votes, respectively.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Kiro Nackov won in Gradsko with 55.66 percent of the votes.

The candidates of AA and Alternativa and DUI will compete in the second round of elections in Debar with 49.69 and 46.15 percent of the votes, respectively.

VMRO-DPMNE mayoral candidate in Kavadarci won with 72.35% of the votes.

In Karbinci, VMRO-DPMNE candidate Viktor Paunov won with 59.4 percent of the votes.

The candidates of VMRO-DPMNE and DUI will go to the second round in Kichevo with 38.42% and 37.3% of the votes, respectively.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Aleksandar Georgievski won in Ilinden with 53.4 percent of the votes.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Dimitar Kostadinoski won in Jegunovce with 50.4 percent of the votes.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Stefce Trpkovski won in Sopishte with 65.03% of the votes.

VMRO-DPMNE candidate Ivan Jordanov won in Shtip with 54.22% of the votes.
