I talked about this energy crisis that would come four months ago, then I tried to explain that this will happen, but then a maneuver was made within the Regulatory Commission, we then proposed a reduction of VAT and here they accepted it and then We welcomed all that, said VMRO-DPMNE leader HristijanMickoski.

“You see today and some European countries are accepting a reduction in VAT on electricity and gas and we warned then that even that is not enough, because really given all that is happening in the energy market in Europe, that we are facing an energy crisis and that we will face that energy crisis, but they did not listen to us then and today we are facing it,” said the leader of opposition VMRO-DPMNE.

Mickoski added that there is no production, because the tenders were announced in order to pump money from the state budget, and not to provide coal.

“Now it is being dug spontaneously, the technological scheme of the mine itself is being destroyed because it is being dug enough to be dug today and the day to pass tomorrow. They create additional problems, now they are sinking deeper and deeper in that swamp, and at the end of the day the price will be paid by the citizens and companies with a higher price of electricity than the one we pay today, and restrictions are possible if the Government fails to provide, said Mickoski.
