131 Afghan refugees arrive in Macedonia

A new group of 131 Afghan refugees landed on Skopje’s International Airport Thursday evening.

The government press service informs that the country continues to assist in the international humanitarian operation to help civilians who are in danger from the new Taliban Government.

They will be accommodated in hotels near Skopje, bringing the total number of temporarily housed Afghans to 531. So far, 84 Afghan refugees had left for other countries.
