The best Macedonian karate player Emil Pavlov has won the silver medal in the category up to 67 kg at the World Championship (WC) in Dubai on Saturday.
Pavlov had a level fight in the final at the beginning, but the Olympic champion Steven da Costa managed to defeat him in the end of the fight.
This is the biggest success for the Macedonian karate medalist, who was previously twice the best in Europe, in 2014 and 2018.
On the way to the final he eliminated Matej Homola, Sadridin Sajmatov, Abdallah Hamat, Ali Elksavi and Marshal Tadisi.
