In a statement for Telma TV, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev says his withdrawal from the PM’s post would depend on the talks with Alternativa and the Bulgaria dispute.
“First, we need to complete the negotiations with Alternativa over the parliamentary majority. If this is completed and publicly announced, we will assess when to launch the procedure of Government election in the Parliament, but will also depend on the talks with Bulgaria. One of the most significant reasons why Alternativa would join the Government is a stable executive and a stable parliamentary majority for the purpose of starting the EU accession negotiations,” says Zaev.
