For the construction of the new clinical center in Shtip, apart from construction companies, the Ministry of Health paid fees to fifteen people “participants in the project”, including the ex-mayor of Centar Andrej Zernovski, Jovan Grpovski, state advisor to the ministerLjupchoBalkovski, MP of VMRO-Narodna, reports Prizma.mk.

The amounts ranged between 30,000 and 90,000 denars per month, and the selection of people to be hired was made by Minister VenkoFilipche.

For the new clinical hospital in Shtip, Macedonia received a loan of 97 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank, but the creditor informed the Minister of Health in a letter on November 5 that they are refusing to finance the project due to the slow construction. The construction of the new clinic in Shtip started almost five years ago.
