The Government was left without a majority in Parliament and new elections were available or we had to make a compromise, a coalition with other parties to increase the parliamentary majority. Alternative used that and made an agreement with which it took positions that do not correspond to their strength on the ground, said GoranMilevski, leader of the LDP and Minister of Local Self-Government in an interview with Radio Free Europe.

“If we leave this Government, it will mean new elections, going to elections, not creating a new parliamentary majority, because for a new parliamentary majority, as the LDP, we believe that we should get a mandate from the citizens, and not on the basis of political intrigues within the Parliament, so in that regard I assure you that if we leave the Government, then new early parliamentary elections will be inevitable,” said the LDP leader.
