Professor and MP Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, at the VMRO-DPMNE debate “New Consensus – Joint Patriotism”, said that we need to return to the European foundations where the individual is valued, partisanship of institutions and expulsion of capable and professional youth is a reality, the backbone of the state is broken, but that must be changed by the new social contract so that society does not fall apart.
“The democratic political glue is the citizenry, so we should talk about the citizen and the individual as a source of sovereignty, that constitutive element unites, we can compete and be equal before the Constitution and laws as individuals, and here unfortunately even the principle that could have been very important, equitable and adequate representation does not work”, said Siljanovska Davkova.
