Health Minister Venko Filipce sees no reason for additional measures and restrictions during the New Year holidays. In a press release on Wednesday, the minister said that there were bigger gatherings these days and that no additional measures are envisaged especially for the New Year.
“The existing restrictive measures suffice for the time being. The current restrictive measures in anticipation of the New Year holidays I think are enough given that such gatherings in public places are everywhere. The culmination will be reached during the New Year holidays, and now the situation is quite calm. I do not see why, specifically only for the New Year holidays, we would introduce additional restrictions,” said Filipche.
