HristijanMickoski and the leadership of VMRO-DPMNE with a convincing victory in the local elections confirmed their legitimacy, university professor AleksandarSpasenovski told TV Telma’s “Top Tema”, adding that the victory of VMRO-DPMNE brought the resignation of ZoranZaevwithin SDSM and the Government.
According to Spasenovski, in addition to the fact that a party fulfills its program, winning the elections is something that its supporters and members expect and it has been delivered.
“If we talk about the leadership of VMRO-DPMNE, we can talk about two periods until the local elections and after them. Local elections are the milestone because the process of public identification of the existing leadership in terms of delivering results or victory in the elections, it was confirmed by a convincing victory,” said Spasenovski.
The professor stressed that VMRO-DPMNE achieved a convincing victory, it resulted in the resignation of Prime Minister ZoranZaev and his leadership in the party.
“In that sense, we can conclude that the legitimacy of HristijanMickoski and the leadership around him has been confirmed and therefore no shocks should be expected. The possibility of doing damage to the party has been drastically reduced,” Spasenovskinoted.
