Skopje court accepts the charges filed against former secretary of government

The trial of former Secretary-General DragiRashkovski, accused of illegal software acquisition and money laundering, is expected to begin in January, after the Criminal Court announced that the indictment, which covers a total of seven people, had been accepted.

The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption on October 8, 2021 filed the indictment which, as informed by the Criminal Court, was assessed and approved in full by the Council for Evaluation of the Prosecutor Act.

Rashkovski is charged with the crimes of “abuse of office and authority” and “money laundering and other proceeds of crime” and six other people are charged with “abuse of office and authority”.
