Prof. Dr. Dragan Danilovski gave a series of recommendations on how citizens and governments should continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is not over, given the new increase in the number of patients and the spread of the new Omicron strain.

“The most vulnerable category should be protected, these are people over 75 who are 10,000 times more at risk of having more problems related to COVID-19 than 15-year-olds. Everyone else should be allowed to catch the virus or those who want to get vaccinated should get vaccinated,” said Dr. Danilovski in an interview with TV Telma.

The doctor believes that COVID passports or certificates should be abolished because, in his opinion, they are meaningless.

“What is the point of being vaccinated with two or three doses when I also transmit the virus? In the beginning, those isolations should have been reduced to five days, and then if it is seen that too many people are infected, half of the country cannot go into isolation – who will work and what we will eat? So we will have to go for a more Swedish approach “, assessed Dr. Danilovski.
