Businessman Jordan Kamchev, accused in the “Plots on Vodno” case, was released from custody on Wednesday afternoon.
Kamchev left the Skopje-Shutka Prison at 4.40 pm, the penitentiary confirmed for MIA.
The Criminal Council of the Skopje Appellate Court yesterday decided to accept the guarantee for Kamchev of almost 11 million euros, while his passports remain in court, where he will have to report regularly.
Kamchev has been receiving treatment at the Sistina Hospital since the New Year. He has been in custody since March 2021, when he was detained on suspicion of plotting to escape.
