The laboratory Eli Medica Plus has been banned from performing health activity contrary to the regulations for health care in a casino in Dojran, Sloboden Pechat has learned from its sources in the State Health and Sanitary Inspectorate. All documentation will be sent to the Minister of Health Venko Filipche for further decision-making.
The State Health Insurance Fund conducted an extraordinary inspection in the casino King subsidiary Star Dojran and in the private health institution Eli Medica Plus Gevgelija due to information received that in the indicated legal entity in Star Dojran tests are performed for visitors of the casino for SARS-CoV-2 virus. During the supervision it was concluded that there is an improvised point located on the first floor in the administrative part, which was marked as a COVID-19 test zone.
The casino facilities were used without the prior consent of the Ministry of Health. PHI Eli Medica has been banned from performing any kind of medical activities.
