The cost of living in December was higher by 0.4 percent compared to November, and retail prices by 0.9 percent, the State Statistical Office announced Monday.
Compared to 2020, the cost of living increased by 3.2 percent, while retail prices increased by 4.3 percent.
Growth was recorded in the groups: Transport by 9.9 percent, restaurants and hotels by 5.9 percent, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics by 3.8 percent, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 3.1 percent, Health by 2.9 percent , housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and recreation and culture by 2.7 percent, miscellaneous goods and services by 1.4 percent, Furniture, household goods and maintenance by 1 percent and clothing and footwear by 0.2 percent.
There was a decrease in the indexes in communications by 0.5 percent, and education is at the same level as 2020.
