We do not want and do not work to separate Macedonia from Albania on the road to the EU. We are working and working hard for the two countries to hold the first intergovernmental conferences sooner and that is one of the reasons for my visit, said the President of the Republic of AlbaniaIlir Meta, who kicked off a three-day visit to Skopje o Monday.
Asked about the decoupling the two countries on the EU integration path, Meta said that he discussed this very important issue for both countries with President StevoPendarovski.
“We had a very good understanding and we will intensify our efforts. We will be patient and work closer and harder,” Meta said.
