When we criticize we do not do it because we want to, but to improve the functioning of the system, said the President of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) Biljana Ivanovska in a TV interview.
As for whether she expects good cooperation with Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Kovachevski, Ivanovska said that they had a meeting and talked and that she is always optimistic that there is room for cooperation.
“All elected and appointed members of the government are subject to examination by the Commission. The fact is that we have given a number of recommendations to the Government, of which 30 percent have been accepted. I think that the new Prime Minister and all ministers should take care to implement the activities envisaged by the national strategy and to implement our recommendations,” Ivanovska stressed.
