“Macedonia fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. “Our institutions are following the developments in and around Ukraine related to the deployment of the armed forces by the Russian Federation along the border,” said Defense Minister SlavyankaPetrovska on the TV24 news.
The Minister added that the country supports the efforts of NATO and the OSCE to overcome the tense situation.
“The deployment of the armed forces by Russia is a provocative and destabilizing act that reduces the security of the European continent,” Petrovska said.
The Minister of Defense added that the stability of Europe should be the goal of all. She added that the Government and relevant institutions are in full coordination in order to protect the safety of Macedonian citizens.
