As a reward for his many years of hard work in the renowned winery “Azienda Agricola Castello Di Perno”, the owner of the winery gave Delchevo citizen Zoran Momchilov the chance to meet with Pope Francis in person.

“The meeting was short, and we used the opportunity to present Pope Francis with quality wines from our winery. I thank them for the trust shown to me by the owners and to add that this will be an incentive for me to invest even more in my work,” said Momchilov.

Although his homeland is in his heart, Momchilov and his wife and family found their happiness in Monforte a long time ago. The area is known for viticulture and is a region where wine production and tourism are most developed.
