During the last week, 26,360 COVID-19 tests were performed, which is 20% less than the previous period.
The number of newly infected in the period from 7 to 13 February decreased by 13.4% compared to the previous week. Most cases were registered in Skopje, although the infectious incidence was highest in Kavadarci.
In other cities it is mostly stable, with no significant bounces in the epidemiological curve.
Most often the cases were people over 60 years of age, and between 40 and 49 years of age, while children under 9 years of age were few. The most noticeable decrease in the number of cases is observed in the age group of 20 to 39 years, especially in those aged 20-29 years.
The highest increase in the number of infected people is observed between the ages of 10 and 19.
The number of reinfections decreased by about 8% compared to the previous week, while the number of deaths decreased by over 30%.
