The number of positive coronavirus cases decreased by 28.2 percent. Last week. 6,119 new positive cases were registered from 34 cities, 863 reinfections and 106 deaths were reported, the Ministry of Health has announced.
According to a weekly report by the Institute of Public Health from February 14 to 20, a total of 23,396 materials were tested in laboratories for molecular testing and antigen testing for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, down 11.2 percent from last week.
Most of the registered cases are from Skopje, a total of 3,262 or 53.3 percent, and the highest weekly incidence is registered in Negotino – 519.1/100,000, Skopje – 514.3/100,000 and Kavadarci – 507.4/100,000.
People of all age groups were registered as positive to the virus. The most common age group is over 60 years of age, 1,482 or 24.2 percent. The lowest number is registered in the age group 0-9 years of age, a total of 327 or 5.3 percent.
