February 24 is a sad day for Ukraine and a dark day for Europe. By attacking Ukraine, the Kremlin has once again grossly violated international law, which has brought suffering and destruction to its immediate neighbors, and violated Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders. At the same time, such actions have called into question the peace order on our continent. There is no excuse for any of this. War and fire are not a joke, and the use of force and coercion has no place in the 21st century, the Macedonian Foreign Minister wrote on Facebook Thursday evening.
“Tonight, we illuminated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, with which we want to send a strong message of support and solidarity with Ukraine and the friendly Ukrainian people, in these difficult times. Our peoples are well known for reaching out to those who need it, something that is written in history. We will make efforts to stop your suffering,” Osmani wrote.
