The security situation is stable, so far there are no indications that there is a direct or indirect threat to its security in the Republic of North Macedonia, said Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska.

The duty and competence of the institutions from the security and intelligence sector, as Minister Petrovska stated Monday for TV 24, is to constantly monitor the situation and inform about possible change.

The Minister reaffirmed that we join the solidarity of NATO and EU member states for direct and practical assistance to Ukraine.

Petrovska points out that at the moment there is no decision to mobilize members of our Army and send them to Ukraine.

“We have not made such a decision yet. According to NATO mechanisms, in addition, if requested, we will send forces, so far no such decision has been made. The public will be informed if we make such a decision,” Petrovska said.
