Asked about Serbia’s position on Russian aggression, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi said there was no need for a specific comment.
As for the negative reflections on the Ukrainian situation, there is no doubt that we, the holders of the relevant positions, should be vigilant in the preventive aspect, citing the bitter experiences of the last three decades, the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia and the whole situation that arose, which was and is current in the region, said Parliament Speaker Xhaferi during his visit to Prishtina.
Undoubtedly, our region is sensitive, vulnerable and under the influence of external influences and in that context we should be careful and above all the part of this cooperation is coordination in all possible negative effects that could have in the region. Undoubtedly we see these issues but I do not think there is anything concrete. However, the institutions should be on alert for any kind of situation, institutions that should monitor the situation and inform about the concrete and factual situation in the region and beyond, Xhaferi said when asked at a joint press conference with his host – the Speaker of the Kosovo Parliament, Glauk Konjufca.
