Today is the last in the series of regional reports that we make on the occasion of the first 100 days of the mandates of the VMRO-DPMNE mayors. The Skopje planning region is the place where the changes started to be felt immediately, despite all the strong obstructions, pressures, despite all the subversions of the central government. I must say, and we must admit that, the main guide these first 100 days was, is and remains not to disappoint the people. And we did not disappoint him, and we will not disappoint him, and that is why I am sitting here in front of you, but also in front of the whole public and we say that in some difficult circumstances we have achieved a lot. And the most significant benefit these 100 days is that we have finally returned the municipalities to those to whom they belong, and that is the people, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski on Sunday.
“Of these more than 1090 projects that have started with the realization, as many as 166 are capital facilities throughout the territory of Macedonia. Many of these projects have been implemented in the municipalities that are reporting today, and about which their mayors will speak in detail after my address,” the opposition said.
Mickoski emphasized that the design, construction or reconstruction of 33 new kindergartens and 68 schools has started.
“From what we did together with the economic team in the party as a mapping in Ukraine and Russia, there are already investors who are present in Macedonia. We mapped five such companies ODV, Genterm, Crombert and Schubert, Aptiv. I instructed the mayors of the cities of Ohrid, Bitola, Ilinden to send a letter to these companies to come and invest in Macedonia, but not only from these companies, but also from all mayors from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE to send a letter to all foreign investors who migrating from the crisis regions in Ukraine and Russia, to come and invest in Macedonia, and we as good hosts will provide them with a really nice ambience in the municipalities where the mayors are located, ” said Mickoski.
