VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski via Facebook announced a proposal to reduce the excise tax on gasoline, writing that they should be cheaper by 13 and 9 denars.
– The final price of MKD 89.5/liter of BS95 includes:
⁃ MKD 53/liter (this price includes the price of fuel, margin and distribution)
– MKD 22/liter (this price includes excise)
⁃ MKD 1/liter (this price includes compensation for environment and compensation for oil reserves)
⁃ MKD 13.5/liter (VAT).
If the fuel excise tax is reduced to 50% as proposed by VMRO-DPMNE and instead of MKD 22/liter is MKD 11/liter, then the total price will be around MKD 13/liter cheaper.
If, as proposed by VMRO-DPMNE, the excise tax on fuels is reduced to 50% and instead of MKD 15.5/liter is MKD 7.75/liter, then the total price will be around MKD 9/liter cheaper, reads Mickoski’s Facebook post.
