The current situation has changed the context of our talks, but also the geopolitical and strategic priorities of the European continent. Our dialogue takes a turning point in terms of the urgency of decision-making that will determine the future of Macedonia in the EU and the entire Western Balkans. The Union has shown that it knows how to unite in historical times, to make the right decisions and to build consensus. And we have shown that we are one hundred percent behind these decisions, said the Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani during his visit to Brussels on Monday.
“We need a quick and decisive step on our European integration path.” “That is why I am here today – to strengthen the support of our European friends for the start of negotiations,” Osmani said.
The Foreign Minister attended a working breakfast with EU foreign ministers today, organized under the auspices of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council. The event, which reviewed the European file of S Macedonia, was also attended by Bulgarian Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska.
