The Government is temporarily withdrawing the draft bill that would allow trans-gender persons to easily change their gender in official documents, First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi confirmed for TV 21.
Grubi said that the law will need to be amended after a trans person won a court case in Strasbourg. According to the initial draft, it would have allowed change of gender in official documents simply with a notarized statement.
