In last night’s debate show “Analiza 24” on TV 24, Anastasija Ilieska from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE regarding borrowing and reallocation of capital investments stressed that capital investments are very needed in the country and the situation with borrowing is very difficult and symptomatic because borrowing in the current time of crisis will cost citizens quite a lot.
Ilieska noted that between 2017 and 2021 the country has an increase in public debt of 2.4 billion euros.
“We have been reallocating capital investments for years with a Budget review. Investments are very necessary in the country, because they are something that moves the entire economic system and we cannot constantly run away from capital investments and reallocate them for certain items,” said Ilieska.
