Kovachevski shows support to Prime Minister of Ukraine over the phone

Macedonian Prime Minister DimitarKovachevski had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal late Sunday afternoon, during which he conveyed that he sympathizes with Ukraine and at the same time admires the courage with which the Ukrainians defend their freedom and the sovereignty of the state.

“I told my colleague Shmyhal that North Macedonia is fully in line with the foreign and security policy of the EU and NATO, and is in constant coordination to support Ukraine. We are ready to accept the citizens of Ukraine if they seek temporary shelter in our country and we remain in touch for all future activities for support and assistance,” Kovachevski wrote on Facebook on Monday.

Prime Minister Shmyhal, as the Macedonian Prime Minister added, thanked him on behalf of the citizens of Ukraine for the support and assistance so far.
